The Future

Welcome to Cherokee Wood Products, Inc.  In my role as President, I speak for all of the dedicated employees as well as myself when I tell you about our company goals, values and ideals.

At CHEROKEE WOOD PRODUCTS, INC., we have learned that customers have looooong memories!  They don’t easily forget the times that other wholesalers gave poor service or a poor yielding product to manufacture with.

We are happy to say that our customers see the difference and remember that CHEROKEE WOOD PRODUCTS, INC. offers excellent yielding material and outstanding service along with competitive pricing.

Cherokee’s Commitment to service goes further than your average wholesaler.  Our company is constantly evolving in order to keep up with our growing clientele. We have expanded our in-house mill with additional top-of-the-line equipment and increased the mill hours of operation in order to provide the optimum, great service our customers have come to rely on.

Simply put, we are dedicated to exceeding our customer’s expectations by providing the best possible wood products and service.

Individually speaking, I have been working with all types of wood since I started in the industry as a 19-year -old truck driver.  Before starting Cherokee Wood Products, I witnessed and experienced many things that made me want to start a company that valued its employees and created an environment where employees were eager to work.  Moreover, I noticed that employees treat customers the same way management treats them.  Thoughtful, humble and considerate treatment flows downhill.  When we establish a relationship with a customer, we rarely part ways.  Cherokee Wood Products operates from a position of trust so our customers know when they place an order; it will be there on time, in the quantity ordered with the quality specified.  In the event an unforeseen problem or difficulty occurs, we SOLVE IT IMMEDIATELY.

Always putting the customer first and foremost is a fundamental imperative at Cherokee Wood Products.

Over the years Cherokee has been blessed with rapid growth.  Starting with one small shed in the City of Industry, CA and one Independent truck, to purchasing our own fleet of trucks and the 5 acres we currently occupy in Upland, CA.  We will not stop there. Our future plans are to expand into the 5 acres to the east and to open additional facilities in Northern California and Arizona.
