Our African Mahogany Dimensional Lumber is cut to exact sizes lists. These pieces are NOT nominal widths. These pieces are S4S machined milled (surfaced on all 4 sides cut to width and length).

The color of African Mahogany wood is a light pinkish brown in colour. The wood darkens with exposure to a deep red. Its grain is straight and interlocked that gives it a striped figure. The texture varies most often it has a medium coarseness. Heartwood is creamy white to yellowish.

African Mahogany Dimensional Lumber
African Mahogany is easy to work. The interlocking grain can cause woolliness on machines with some blunting effect on cutters. Mahogany turns, sands, glues and finishes well.
