Our Cherry Dimensional Lumber is cut to exact sizes lists. These pieces are NOT nominal widths. These pieces are S4S machined milled (surfaced on all 4 sides cut to width and length).

The color of Cherry wood has heartwood that can vary in colour from reddish brown to a deep red. The sapwood is whitish and sometimes creamy pink. This wood can have fleck marks and gum pockets.

Cherry Dimensional Lumber
Cherry has fine grain that is straight and close. The texture is smooth with a rich satiny luster. It can also have some dark wavy streaks. This lumber works well with both hand and machine tools.
