Limba Bowl Blanks are 1-15/16″ thick and come in a variety of square sizes. Hard Maple is easy to work with. It has a small blunting effect on and can be difficult to work. Limba has heartwood is a light yellowish to golden brown, sometimes with grey to nearly black streaks and veins. Wood with such darker figuring is referred to as Black Limba, while plain un figured wood is called White Limba. Sapwood is a pale grayish to yellowish brown
